Any guests who’ve spent time with us over the last 12 months will know that we’ve been keen to extend our reach beyond Cambodia, to bring you to new and exciting locations, approached with the same passion for photographic learning and discovery we pride ourselves on. Some of you have even sent us emails reminding us to get our butts in gear and put something awesome together. Well, today is that day.

We’re delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with another of Asia’s premier photography tour companies in Pics of Asia, run by Etienne Bossot. Etienne shares much of our philosophy when it comes to photography: meaningful engagements with subjects; respectful photography; getting beyond the clichéd and seeing the reality of a country; and a real passion for helping others to become better photographers. We believe the companies are a perfect match.

So what does the partnership mean?

Well, for one, an action-packed new tour that takes in the highlights of what we both know best, Cambodia and Vietnam, kicking off in July 2019.

Our nine-day adventure begins in Siem Reap, where we’ll take in Angkorian temples ranging from the supreme to the super-secret, boat through otherworldly stilted villages, explore sprawling local markets, and get intimate access to real, local people, far from the tourist trail. At the midpoint of the tour, we’ll hop on a short flight to Danang to meet Etienne, who’ll show you the very best of Central Vietnam, from charming Hoi An Old Town and the surrounding countryside, to local industry and the beautiful lagoons of Lang Co and Ha Giang. All the while we’ll coach you into getting more from your photography in way is as immersive as it is enjoyable. And with multiple mentors, you’re bound to pick up a wealth of new tips and tricks to take your photography, and enjoyment of the photo making process, to new heights. You can read more about our new tour here.

We’re excited to meet faces new and old on our latest photo adventure. I’ll leave you with a little taste of what we might see along the way; I hope you’ll join us!
