12-Day Uzbekistan Workshop Itinerary

Day 1: arrival in Tashkent

On day one you’ll arrive in Tashkent. You’ll be transferred to your hotel to rest. According to your arrival time, in the afternoon we will join the sunset in town and photograph the metro of Tashkent.

Day 2: Khiva

This morning we will fly to Khiva where later in the afternoon we will discover the inner city, entrenched behind high walls. We will photograph the architectural wonders of this “museum” during the best hours enjoying the beautiful lights of the late afternoon, the sunset and the blue hours. We will also introduce you to street photography to see this city with another eye.

Day 3: Khiva

Today we will go deeper and discover the other architectural beauties of Khiva without also a strong focus on street photography. For sure we won’t miss the sunrise, the blue hours and the sunset in different location.

Day 4: Khiva to Bukhara

After breakfast, we hit the road towards the city of Bukhara (475 km drive). Today, we plan to go by car, for a approximate 6/7 hours drive through the desert but we hope that the new section of the high-speed train will be open by then to safe time. That day we’ll find a good spot to shoot the sunset and evening light above the roof of Bukhara.

Day 5: Bukhara and its artisans

After an early morning in the street of Bukhara and a nice breakfast, we will discover the surroundings of Bukhara, meet a few families of artisans. In the evening we”ll make sure we are back in town for another point of view at sunset.
